Dereck Chisora is holding his nose after watching Dillian Whyte's performance from this past Saturday night at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
Whyte won a very lackluster twelve round unanimous decision over Robert Helenius to capture the WBC silver title.
Chisora is very familiar with both men, as he lost a controversial twelve round decision to Helenius in 2011. And he lost a close split decision to Whyte in a Fight of The Year encounter that many felt he won in 2015.
Chisora returns to the ring this coming Saturday night, when he challenges Agit Kabayel for the European heavyweight belt in Monaco.
He's been pushing for the last year to get Whyte back in the ring for a rematch, but for whatever reason the fight hasn't come about.
Chisora was far from impressed from what he saw on Saturday night with Whyte.
"Dillian Whyte's fight was not that great at all," Chisora exclusively told Sky Sports."Robert didn't come to fight. Dillian was trying to fight, trying to be a bit like me, but he was doing a poor version of me. The first three rounds, he was trying to blast Helenius out, and Helenius nearly stopped him. Nearly knocked him out, wobbled him a little bit. Then he tried to go with the cross hook style, but he hasn't got the rhythm to go with that. He was moving his head, but it was moving in slow motion, and he would chuck a shot and it would miss by a mile.
"On that performance, he would have to take an 'F'. He might have won, but he would have to take an 'F'. For a guy who is screaming for a world title shot, and the way he boxed off balance, that's not great."
Whyte, and his promoter Eddie Hearn, are now gunning for a world title shot at WBC king Deontay Wilder, who this Saturday defends his belt in a rematch with Bermane Stiverne in Brooklyn, New York.
Wilder is not very interested in the fight, but Chisora believes he should take the opportunity because it's going to be an easy payday.
"If I was Deontay Wilder and I wanted to make a quick, easy, $4 million [then I would fight him]," said Chisora. "Deontay Wilder's sparring partners have got more skills right now than what we saw Dillian Whyte do the other day."
