TYSON FURY slammed Sefer Seferi for not turning up for a fight, but revealed he was very happy with his own performance.
Fury had not fought since his win over Wladimir Klitschko 924 days ago but returned to the ring with a win - albeit it in farcical conditions.
He started the first two rounds with some showboating and crowd-pleasing, drawing a warning from the ref in the second.
But after a few punches were landed on Seferi in the fourth round, the Albanian's camp decided to retire on the stool - leaving fans furious.
And Fury shared their rage but admitted he was happy with the night anyway.
“It was what it was,” said Fury.
“He took a couple of hard punches and he told his corner not to send him out for round five.
“I was saving it for round five, because I said I would knock him out in round five. I was fit and ready, and very happy with the performance.
“If I’m brutally honest I could have knocked him out in ten seconds. I could have done him in the first round, let’s be honest.
“But, what would that have done me? I got four rounds instead of ten seconds. I enjoyed it.
“The opponent was quite short, which meant he was light and quick.
“He didn’t come to fight, he came to run around the ring and enjoy himself.
“I hoped for a bigger opponent but we couldn’t really get anyone, there was no one available.
“We took Seferi, he had a good record and a tough chin.
“He took me a few rounds so I’m happy with it. Very happy actually.”
