This Saturday night from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the rematch between Gennady Golovkin (38-0-1, 34 KOs) and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs) takes place.
Last year they fought to a draw and many observers now believe it is the Mexican superstar that comes in with the edge this time around.
One of them happens to be renowned trainer, Freddie Roach.
Roach told BoxingScene.com - "I like Canelo a little bit, Triple G is I think slipping a little bit. I don't think he cuts the ring off as efficiently as he used to. I like Triple G and I hope he wins but I can't bet with my heart so I think that Canelo will win a decision."
When asked if the last three rounds of their first match-up will carry over into this weekend, Roach stated it's - "definitely possible and the thing is they say Triple G is very angry at him... I mean, you can't go into a fight with anger. He's got to fight his fight and if he makes that mistake I think it will be a big one."
Roach believes the second go-around won't be all that much different than their first one.
"It'll be a good boxing match, a very good fight. Canelo I think has to pick it up a little bit, Triple G will be the same boxer he is but the thing is with his legs - can he cut the ring off. I mean, he was the best I've ever seen in my life and when he cut the ring off, he'd get you in the corner and land the right hand, the fight was usually over," Roach said.
"If he can do that again, he'll have success but he's got to do that perfectly."
