上周，WBO轻量级世界冠军\奥运金牌得主洛马琴科做客洛杉矶的一个访谈节目，被要求提供个人认为的P4P榜单前五名，戈洛夫金成了洛马琴科的首选。
洛马琴科给出的名单分别是，戈洛夫金第一，科瓦列夫第二，克劳福德第三，帕奎奥第四，米奇.加西亚第五。
上周六戈洛夫金以微弱点数击败了雅各布斯，23场淘汰赛记录被终结，洛马琴科解释了为什么戈洛夫金还是P4P第一。
洛马琴科说；“首先你要和顶尖拳手对抗，其次你要有非常好的拳击技巧，当然，你还需要有一个冠军头衔在身”。
洛马琴科认为沃德不在前五之列，因为他把科瓦列夫黑了，而且很多人都认为有争议。另外上周意外败给泰国拳手的冈萨雷兹也不在前五之列。
Last week, WBO super featherweight world champion Vasyl Lomachenko was a special guest on 'A Los Golpes' and was asked to provide his personal list of the top five pound-for-pound fighters in the sport. The two-time Olympic gold medal winner topped off the list with WBC, WBA, IBO, IBF middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs). This past Saturday night, Golovkin won a twelve round unanimous decision over Daniel Jacobs at New York's Madison Square Garden. The outcome snapped Golovkin's 23 fight knockout streak. It was also the first time where Golovkin had gone the twelve round distance. The fight was very competitive and Golovkin won by close scores of 114-113, 115-112, 115-112. Number two on his list was former light heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev. Coming in at number three on his list is WBC/WBO junior welterweight champion Terence Crawford, number four on the list is eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao. And number five is WBC lightweight champion Mikey Garcia. Lomachenko, who felt Golovkin did more than enough to beat Jacobs last weekend, explained his criteria for recognizing GGG as the top fighter in the sport. "My opinion, first you need to fight with the top guys. Second, you need to have very, very good boxing skills. And of course, you need to have a title," Lomachenko said to BoxingScene.com. Lomachenko says Andre Ward is not part of his top five. Ward defeated Kovalev last November by a close points decision to capture the IBF, WBA, WBO light heavyweight titles. Lomachenko felt Kovalev was robbed in the fight, and there were many others who also felt the scorecards were controversial. Also not on the list, as far as the top five, is former four division world champion Roman "Chocholatito" Gonzalez. Last Saturday, as part of the Golovkin-Jacobs card, he suffered his first career defeat, by decision, to Srisaket Sor Rungvisai - and like Ward-Kovalev a lot of people felt the scorecards were controversial. - |
