Bob Arum Talks Vasyl Lomachenko vs. Guillermo Rigondeaux

A fight between Vasyl Lomachenko and Guillermo Rigondeaux could become a reality towards the end of this year, Bob Arum told Boxingscene.com.
Lomachenko is penciled to return to the ring on December 9 or 23 and the location of that fight could depend on whether he faces Rigondeaux or junior lightweight contender Orlando Salido.
"We're open for Lomachenko to face anyone," said Arum.

Lomachenko (9-1, with 7 knockouts) successfully defended his WBO junior lightweight title on Aug. 5, stopping Miguel Marriaga after the seventh round at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
Arum stated he has already reached out to Roc Nation, which co-promotes Rigondeaux.
"I spoke to Roc Nation recently about Lomachenko fighting Rigondeaux," said Arum. "Rigondeaux has agreed to move up from 122 pounds (where he holds a world junior featherweight title) to face Lomachenko at 130 pounds."
"Rigondeaux is entitled to a big purse, but not a crazy purse. This isn't Christmas, where you give everything away."
Arum told the Los Angeles Times' Lance Pugmire on Tuesday a fight between Lomachenko and Rigondeaux could land in New York City. If a fight were to be finalized between Lomachenko and Salido, who defeated Aristides Perez on May 27, then the site of that fight would be in the Los Angeles area.
Salido defeated Lomachenko by split decision in March of 2014 in Lomachenko's second fight as a pro.
