前几天白大拿透露说，麦格雷戈VS梅威瑟表示付费购买已经超过了2015年的460万户，达到了惊人的650万户，他不是在开玩笑就是误传。

Showtime的执行副总裁斯蒂芬·埃斯皮诺萨今天证实；梅威瑟VS麦格雷戈这场付费比赛，目前购买量已经接近了400万户范围的中高（mid to high）。


Mayweather-McGregor is Trending High, May Break PPV Record
UFC President Dana White was either joking or misinformed a few days ago.
White, in a video recording, stated that last Saturday's fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor had generated at least 6.5 million buys on pay-per-view.
If that were true, the number would easily break the current record of 4.6 million buys, which was set by Mayweather's long awaited showdown with Manny Pacquiao in May of 2015.

White's claimed figure was not accurate, although Mayweather-McGregor may very well break the pay-per-view buy record.
According to Showtime executive vice president Stephen Espinoza, the pay-per-view is currently trending to hit the "mid to high" four million range.
"We would love to break that record, but even if we come up just short, the event was still a massive success financially and by other measurements," Espinoza said to USA Today.
Even if the overall buy number fell short of the Mayweather-Pacquiao record, the number of buys for Mayweather-McGregor would still be astonishing when considering the facts.
Mayweather vs. Pacquiao was heavily hyped for six to seven years time - and the sheer thought of that match had consumed the entire boxing world. For years it was the biggest fight to be made and the showdown was finalized at a time when most fans had given up hope on the matchup.
Mayweather vs. McGregor was seemingly put together in a matter of months, with most fans in boxing and MMA getting caught by surprise that a deal was even finalized.
Mayweather was now 40 years old and retired from boxing for the last two years. McGregor, who was the biggest star in the UFC, had zero boxing experience. Most of the mainstream media threw cold water on the contest even being remotely competitive.
But, in the days leading up to the fight, it seemed that Mayweather-McGregor became one of those can't miss sporting events that everyone had to watch.
McGregor did better than many had anticipated. He started strong and arguably won the first three rounds. The fast pace eventually zapped him of his stamina, with Mayweather dominating down the stretch and stopping the UFC star in the tenth round.
