阿瓦雷兹(49-1-2，34 KOs) ，与戈洛夫金(37-0-1，33 KOs)去年九月的一番战前承诺，十回合之内KO戈洛夫金，但最后双方以争议的点数打平。

双方的二番战将于5月5日在拉斯维加斯的T-Mobile竞技场重演，阿瓦雷兹再次向拳迷承诺，复赛不会需要裁判的决定，他会将戈洛夫金KO出局。

戈洛夫金的教练桑切斯在接受电话采访时说；“这一次，他说会把戈洛夫金击倒，这样我们就不再需要裁判了。如果他再次欺骗公众，并没有像他自己说的那样进行战斗，那么我认为付费公众有权利永远不再关注他。阿瓦雷兹是一个信口开河的人，但他需要做一个有尊严的人，一个信守诺言的人，并且做他说他会做的事。

如果阿瓦雷兹信守承诺，那么他们之间将会发生一场激烈的战斗。因为他们将会面对面死磕，并且是技术性的，在你想伤害另一个人的必要事情做的很聪明。如果他选择面对面对抗的话，会被KO，虽然我认为他能承受一些重拳，但不可能撑到12回合。如果他再满场跑，那么就由他去面对拳迷的批评。”


Sanchez: If Canelo Defrauds Public Again - Fans Should Boycott!

Abel Sanchez, the head trainer for Gennady Golovkin (37-0-1, 33 KOs), is demanding that Canelo Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs) backs up his statements over the last few weeks - with the Mexican boxer promising to score a knockout over the undefeated WBA, WBC, IBF and IBO middleweight champion.

Golovkin and Alvarez will collide in a rematch on Cinco De Mayo weekend, May 5th, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

They collided at the same venue last September, during Mexican Independence Day weekend, and it ended in a controversial draw.

Sanchez is calling Canelo's bluff.

He says the Mexican star made the same type of promises prior to the first bout, but instead he stayed on the backfoot and boxed Golovkin for the better part of their twelve round bout.

If Canelo adapts the same type of strategy, Sanchez believes Canelo should feel the wrath of the paying public.

"This time, he's talking about knocking Golovkin out so we don't need the judges again. If he defrauds the public again and doesn't fight the fight that he's talking about, then I think the public has a right to never watch him again," Sanchez said.

"He is the one that is opening his mouth and he needs to be a man of honor and a man of his word and do what he says he's going to do."

And what would happen if Canelo makes good on his word and aggressively pursues the knockout victory?

"If that happens, then we are going to have a heck of a fight because they are going to be standing in front of each other and being technical, being smart in doing the things necessary to hurt the other guy. Somebody is going out if they are standing at distance," Sanchez said.

"If he [Alvarez] stands the distance I expect him to get knocked out. I expect him to take some shots, I expect him to be the fighter that he is - which is a great fighter - but I expect him not to last the 12 rounds if he stands and fights the fight he is promising us.

"If he runs again, then I see the same scenario. The onus is on Canelo, he is the one that is going to have to answer his critics."
