TYSON FURY does not believe a rematch with Deontay Wilder will happen.
Fury is taking on WBC heavyweight champion Wilder at the Staples Centre, Los Angeles, this Saturday.
Many fear the Gypsy King, who only returned from a 31-month exile from the sport in routine victories against Sefer Seferi and Francesco Pianeta over the summer, is locking horns with the unbeaten American too soon after ** his comeback.
Wilder has won by knockout in 39 of his 40 professional contests to date, dispatching of the only man who survived his onslaught - Bermane Stiverne - inside a round of the rematch.
If Fury trumps him on Saturday night, it is believed there is a rematch clause in the contract that hands the Bronze Bomber an immediate shot at redemption.
However, Fury is tipping his opponent to steer clear of the rematch after he dishes out a ‘boxing lesson’ in LA.
“I don’t think Wilder will take the rematch,” he told Gareth A Davies.
“He won’t take the rematch clause. I’m gonna give him that bad of a boxing lesson, and beat him up that badly, he won’t want the rematch clause.
“He’ll fight [Anthony] Joshua I think, even with his loss. He doesn’t have anywhere else to go.”

If, as Fury predicts, Wilder and Joshua face off in the latter’s next Wembley showpiece pencilled in for April, who will the Gypsy King target in his first defence as champion?
Two men in the running are Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora, who go head-to-head in a rematch of their epic 2016 bout on December 22.
Fury has already beaten Chisora twice in his career; first via unanimous decision in 2011, before forcing the British heavyweight to quit on his stool in 2014.
The Gypsy King can’t see a need for another clash with Chisora, and cannot see him beating Whyte anyway.
When asked whether he will fight Chisora for a third time if he beats Whyte, Fury replied: “The word is if.
“I’ve beat Chisora comfortable twice, I don’t think there’s much more to prove with Dereck Chisora.
“And will Dillian Whyte go out and stand toe-to-toe again with Chisora? I don’t think he does.
“I think he’ll box Chisora this time, because he knows anyone who goes toe-to-toe with old Del Boy will have a hard fight. But anybody who uses a jab and a bit of movement will beat him easy.”
