British boxing promoter Eddie Hearn is trying to lure Joseph Parker back to Britain for a July 13 fight with Dereck Chisora.
Attempts to get a Parker v Chisora fight in London on April 20 fell over as negotiations stalled and the Kiwi decided his preparation time would be compromised too much.A mid-July fight would allow Parker sufficient time for a full training camp with his coach Kevin Barry in Las Vegas before switching to London for fight night.Hearn told IFL TV he has the July date pencilled in for Dillian Whyte to headline a card against a yet to be announced opponent."
